He wants high level police protection security but the British Home Office downgraded it

After losing his latest court battle, Prince Harry has a whopping £1m bill!

He lost his High Court battle with the Home Office for downgrading his police protection.

Harry’s lawyers argued his family needs armed security when they’re in the UK. But a British High Court judge rejected Prince Harry’s request to appeal an earlier ruling that took away his police protection while in the UK.

But Harry doesn’t accept no for an answer and is going to appeal, which means more legal fees. The High Court says Harry can apply directly to the Court of Appeal. But it is not guaranteed that it will be successful and after one ruling that denied his request and then an appeal that again denied his request, it looks more likely that he won’t win the next appeal. But Harry won’t listen to anyone.

This long-running saga and legal battle began more than 4 years ago, when Harry brought the action at London’s High Court, He did it after the Home Office decided he would not automatically receive personal police security while in Britain.

The issue is that Harry does receive police protection as evidenced when he went to see his father King Charles after he announced his cancer diagnosis. Harry had a police escort. That wasn’t enough for Harry – he wants the same protection he would have received if he was still an active royal but the Home Office says no.

Harry claims he and his family still need extra armed security because of “hostility directed toward him and his wife Meghan on social media and relentless hounding by the news media”.

Who is paying Harry’s legal fees? Is it him or is it the UK public?

Do you think he needs extra protection than what he already gets police protection? Or do you think this is just his overinflated sense of himself and his wife?

It’s hard to tell.
