After four years together, a 12-year age gap and multiple wedding ceremonies, Chrishell Stause and G Flip have called it quits. But while Chrishell is crying over the relationship she thought would last forever, reports suggest G Flip had already fallen out of love. And now there are questions about whether someone else might be in the picture.
It was the celebrity romance that nobody saw coming and perhaps the breakup that everyone should have.
Former Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause, 45 and Australian musician G Flip, 33 have ended their relationship after more than four years together, leaving Chrishell devastated and apparently struggling to understand what went wrong.
On 26 October 2026, Chrishell confirmed the separation in an emotional Instagram video, tearfully explaining that they had agreed to handle their public breakup with love and mutual respect.
Lovely sentiment. Very mature. But let’s not pretend this was necessarily a mutual decision.
According to TMZ and People, G Flip was the one who ended the relationship, leaving Chrishell to announce the news while still very much in love with her former partner.
And the latest revelations make the breakup even more uncomfortable.
Chrishell’s emotional announcement reveals more than she intended
In her video, Chrishell admitted she was struggling with the separation and did not have all the information or reasons behind it. That’s a rather revealing admission from someone supposedly announcing an amicable separation.
She also confessed that she felt like a failure, explaining that she needed time to heal from what had happened. Chrishell described herself as someone who falls deeply in love and takes big emotional risks. She clearly believed she had finally found her forever person.
But the most telling part was her insistence that she remained in love with G Flip. This wasn’t a woman celebrating a new chapter. It was someone trying to make sense of a future that had apparently been taken away from her.
G Flip, whose real name is Georgia Flipo and who uses they/them pronouns, subsequently released their own statement, saying they would always love Chrishell and cherish their memories together. All very affectionate, but it’s considerably easier to reminisce about a relationship when you’re the person who has decided to leave it.
G Flip apparently fell out of love and Chrishell never saw it coming
On 29 October, TMZ reported that G Flip had travelled from Australia to Los Angeles to tell Chrishell their romantic feelings had changed.
According to sources, G Flip no longer viewed Chrishell as a romantic partner but more as a friend.
Ouch.
Imagine believing you’re planning a lifetime with someone, only to discover that they’ve quietly moved you from the romance department into the friendship category. The report claims Chrishell was completely blindsided by the conversation.
Meanwhile, The Sun reported that sources believed G Flip’s growing career and the couple’s emotionally demanding IVF journey had placed considerable pressure on their relationship. The publication also claimed Chrishell sometimes felt her support for G Flip was being taken for granted.
None of those accounts has been publicly confirmed by both parties, but they paint a picture of two people whose relationship may have been heading in different directions long before the breakup became public.
A 12-year age gap and two very different lifestyles

Let’s talk about the elephant in the room.
Chrishell is 45. G Flip is 33.
Twelve years isn’t necessarily an insurmountable age difference, but it becomes considerably more complicated when two people are at different stages of their lives.
Chrishell had already experienced a failed marriage, several high-profile relationships and years of reality television drama. She appeared increasingly focused on finding stability and building a family. G Flip, meanwhile, was a rising Australian musician with an expanding international career, tours, performances, recording commitments and an increasingly demanding professional schedule. One was looking towards domestic stability. The other was building a career that involved travelling around the world.
Of course, successful musicians can have settled relationships. But spending considerable time on different continents hardly makes maintaining a marriage easier. Chrishell regularly travelled to Australia to support G Flip, while the musician spent substantial time in the United States. And perhaps that arrangement worked beautifully during the excitement of a new romance. But maintaining it indefinitely, especially while planning children, was always going to be challenging.
There’s also the question of whether G Flip was ever quite as ready for permanent domestic life as Chrishell believed. Their public image was that of a spontaneous, free-spirited musician, while Chrishell seemed increasingly invested in building something permanent.
Being adventurous doesn’t make someone incapable of commitment. But the latest reports suggest that, somewhere along the way, G Flip’s idea of forever changed. Unfortunately for Chrishell, hers apparently didn’t.
From meeting in October 2021 to wedding bells in May 2023

The relationship moved remarkably quickly.
The pair first met at a Halloween party in Los Angeles in October 2021, reportedly through Australian singer Tones and I. They reconnected in early 2022 and Chrishell publicly confirmed their romance during the Selling Sunset reunion in May of that year. By May 2023, they had celebrated a Las Vegas wedding, barely a year after publicly announcing their relationship. They subsequently held further ceremonies, including a celebration in Australia and a medieval-themed wedding in Los Angeles in 2025.
Interestingly, TMZ reports that despite their multiple ceremonies, the couple never legally married.
So while the romance had plenty of wedding dresses, celebrations and declarations of eternal devotion, there apparently wasn’t a legally binding marriage to dissolve. And now, just three years after their first public wedding announcement, it’s over.
The speed of their romance raises an uncomfortable question: did Chrishell fall in love with the reality of who G Flip was or the exciting future she imagined they could have together?
Are the rumours about another woman true?
Naturally, attention has turned towards whether G Flip might already have someone else in their life.
There is speculation about another woman, particularly given the apparent suddenness of G Flip’s decision and Chrishell’s admission that she doesn’t fully understand why the relationship ended.
But there is currently no credible public confirmation that G Flip is dating another woman or that infidelity contributed to the separation.
No verified new partner has emerged from the reporting. But that doesn’t mean it’s not true. As the saying goes: Where’s there’s smoke, there’s fire.
TMZ’s latest account instead suggests that G Flip’s romantic feelings simply faded. That explanation may be entirely accurate. Relationships do sometimes end without another person becoming involved. But it also may be the public relations from G Flip that is spreading that narrative.
Nevertheless, Chrishell’s lack of answers makes the situation particularly intriguing. After four years together and repeated declarations of devotion, you’d imagine the person being left behind would have a reasonably clear understanding of why.
Whether further details emerge remains to be seen.
Chrishell’s dream of having children has suffered another devastating setback

Perhaps the saddest aspect of this breakup involves Chrishell’s longstanding desire to become a mother.
Her previous relationship with Selling Sunset co-star Jason Oppenheim ended partly because they had different views about having children.
With G Flip, things appeared different.
The couple openly discussed starting a family, including adoption and IVF. G Flip previously spoke about the emotional difficulties of fertility treatment and the disappointments that can accompany the process. Chrishell appeared to believe she had finally found someone who shared her vision of parenthood.
Now she’s 45, single again and facing the prospect of rebuilding her personal life while reconsidering the family she had hoped to create. That doesn’t mean motherhood is impossible, but it does mean another painful interruption to plans she had invested heavily in. And if reports that G Flip’s feelings had quietly changed are accurate, the timing must be particularly devastating.
Another celebrity fairy tale bites the dust
Chrishell has endured several very public romantic disappointments, from her marriage to actor Justin Hartley to her relationship with Jason Oppenheim. Yet she continued throwing herself wholeheartedly into love.
With G Flip, she appeared convinced this time would be different. There were romantic declarations, elaborate weddings, matching celebrations and endless photographs suggesting everything was wonderful. It sounds a lot like love bombing.
Instagram doesn’t reveal what happens when the cameras disappear, the tours begin and the excitement of a new romance gives way to ordinary life. Or when the love bomber gets bored.
Perhaps Chrishell and G Flip simply wanted different futures. Perhaps their lifestyles eventually became too difficult to reconcile. Or perhaps G Flip simply realised that being deeply fond of someone isn’t the same as wanting to spend the rest of your life with them. That love bombing is finite and doesn’t make it a long term thing.
For Chrishell, the distinction has apparently come at an enormous emotional cost.
The particularly brutal part? G Flip seems to have reached the end of the relationship before Chrishell even realised there was a finish line.
And no amount of carefully worded statements about love and mutual respect can make that heartbreak disappear.
