Unstoppable premiere in Toronto with Jennifer Lopez, no Ben Affleck

The premiere of the sports drama ‘Unstoppable’ included all the stars except for no-show Ben Affleck, Jennifer’s ex

The ‘Unstoppable’ movie premiere happened on Friday 6 September at the Toronto International Film Festival.

There were rumours of Ben Affleck attending but he opted not to attend his movie due to his current divorce proceedings with Jennifer Lopez. Ben and Matt Damon were producers on the movie through their production company Artists Equity.

The other big stars of the movie were also at the premiere in Toronto. They include: Matt Damon, Don Cheadle, Bobby Cannavale, Jharrel Jerome, Michael Peña. Matt Damon posed with his wife of 18 years, Luciana Bozán.

‘Unstoppable’ is based on the inspirational true story of Anthony Robles, who was born without a right leg. Robles defied expectations to become a champion wrestler in college. It’s a biographical sports drama and based on the book of the same name by Anthony Robles.

According to Variety, the movie was very well received. The audience started clapping several times during the movie. There were some emotional bits in the movie that got the audience emotional. At the end of the movie, Anthony Robles received a standing ovation for 2 minutes. Looks like it will be considered a critical and audience success when it airs later in the year. During a Q&A after the movie screened, Robles received another standing ovation.

The movie stars Jharrel Jerome as Anthony Robles. Jennifer Lopez stars as Judy Robles, his mother. She is her son’s biggest supporter, despite any struggles and hardships they face.

Jennifer Lopez wore a dazzling metallic silver floor length dress that was open at the sides. It is basically two bits of silver material with black ties on each side. Her heels were silver as was her clutch handbag. Some media outlets are saying she’s showing Ben “what he’s missing” but she always wears very little material dresses like this at premieres. It’s her look. Very little clothing. Promoting a sexy look. Light coloured lips. Straight hair (mostly). Very high heels. Aimed to get as much exposure by the media as possible. And it works. The media is all over her look and there’s thousands of media and gossip sites posting about her. Job well done.
