Blake Lively drops part of her harassment claim against Justin Baldoni

Today, Blake Lively is removing from her lawsuit again Justin Baldoni, that he caused her emotional distress while working on their 2024 blockbuster “It Ends With Us.”

This comes after Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman asked to see Blake Lively’s medical records. The records which should have a lot of information about her emotional distress. After all, she claims that she was emotionally distressed and upset on the set of their movie. But was she she really?

But guess what? There was no emotional distress. That’s why Blake Lively’s lawyer is dropping this part of her lawsuit.

More like she was trying to take control of the movie. And she wasn’t happy Baldoni did not give her directorial control, which is what she wanted and forced.

Justtin Baldoni has maintained there was no sexual harassment or emotional distress or any type of harassment. He was smart enough to allow videos to be taken of their rehearsals with sound on. So she could not misconstrue what happened.

Basically, Blake’s lawyers requested to withdraw her claims of suffering “intentional infliction of emotional distress” and “negligent infliction of emotional distress” on the set of their movie. This withdrawal came after Justin Baldoni’s legal team requested she allow access her medical and mental health records.

While Blake Lively’s team has made this request, the court will decide if she is allowed to withdraw that part of her claim.

If the court is smart, they will say no to Blake Lively’s request. Her team needs to prove she was distressed while working on the movie with Justin Baldoni. By asking to withdraw these claims, it makes it appear that she has nothing in her medical records about any distress, so she has something to hide. The court should tell Blake she needs to prove the veracity of her claims which are subjective at best and nefarious at worst.

The filing states: “Instead of complying with the Medical RFPs, Ms. Lively’s counsel recently advised us, in writing, that Ms. Lively is withdrawing her [infliction of emotional distress] Claims.

“However, Ms. Lively has refused the Wayfarer Parties’ reasonable request that the withdrawal of such claims be with prejudice. She is only willing to withdraw her claims without prejudice.

“In other words, Ms. Lively wants to simultaneously: (a) refuse to disclose the information and documents needed to disprove that she suffered any emotional distress and/or that the Wayfarer Parties were the cause; and (b) maintain the right to re-file her IED Claims at an unknown time in this or some other court after the discovery window has closed.”

This is a huge claim to request to withdraw and it puts her whole suit in jeopardy and makes her appear to be a liar. Her whole claim centres around emotional distress. So if she wasn’t actually emotionally distressed, what is the point of her suing Justin Baldoni?

Blake, girl. You need to stop lying. I hate to disrespect a woman but this is a vexatious legal suit that has no merit. If it did, there is no way Blake Lively would be trying to withdraw a major part of her legal lawsuits against Justin Baldoni. She is basically screwed and will not win this case.

My prediction? Nobody will get anything. Both lawsuits will be dismissed. Blake will be blackballed for some time as Hollywood will be wary of her twisted accusations. Justin will win new fans and get more work.
