Pop superstar Katy Perry and Canada’s most photogenic politician, Justin Trudeau, have gone public with their budding romance. And where else but the City of Love? Paris.

The pair were spotted strolling hand in hand through the cobblestone streets of Paris, Katy holding some roses. Insiders claim they just had a cosy candlelit dinner at the high end restaurant Le Voltaire. They looked very loved-up and definitely looked like a very glamorous couple.

Fans first started buzzing months ago when Katy’s Euphoria World Tour made a stop in Toronto.

After her show, she was seen having a private dinner with Trudeau. Gossip sources claim they “clicked instantly” over a shared love of music, diplomacy and maple syrup desserts. At the time, the internet collectively lost its mind.

Then new photos of them kissing and cuddling on a luxury yacht off the French Riviera went viral. It seems the rumours of their relationships were right all along.

Eyewitnesses say the chemistry between them was “undeniable”, with Katy laughing at Justin’s dad jokes (a true test of affection if ever there was one) and Justin looking utterly smitten with Katy. The pair were even spotted taking selfies and dancing on deck while a bottle of rosé chilled nearby. It’s giving political pop power couple, and the internet can’t get enough.

While neither has made an official statement yet, fans are already coining couple names. The favourites for their couple are -“Justry” and “Katustin”. Which one do you like? Do you have a different couple name for them?

People are speculating whether this unexpected duo might be the politician-meets-diva fairytale 2025 didn’t know it needed.
