Bots and trolls targeting Princess Catherine and King Charles

Some suggestions they are a coordinated attack on them

Ex-White House information chief Theresa Payton says the wild theories about The King and Princess Catherine are likely a result of Kremlin propaganda.  

She claims that Vladimir Putin’s troll and bot farms have been inflaming the hateful conspiracy theories against the British Royals to create chaos and to create mistrust in the British Royal family. 

First there was the AI generated images of the farm visit by Prince William and Princess Catherine made to look like it was a different woman. The claim was that it wasn’t Catherine, so the fake AI was done to reduce trust in the royal family. This was all propagated on X (formerly Twitter) by trolls and taken up by so many big accounts, claiming it was true, when it obviously wasn’t.  

Then there was the fake announcement that King Charles died on St Patrick’s Day, 17 March.

This forced the palace to make an official response to deny the fake announcement.

There’s some speculation that this fake death announcement about Charles was due to Charles’ support of Ukraine. I guess whoever made the fake announcement was looking for an opportunity to cause havoc to the palace. The announcement looks so fake, it’s really unbelievable that anyone actually believed it was real. But trolls gotta troll, you know?
