Lots of drama around the alleged Bennifer split

Neither of them have publicly confirmed or denied that they are breaking up

Apparently Jennifer Lopez is really hurt and upset that before Bennifer 2.0 happened, she told the world Ben Affleck was the love of her life. And now she’s going to divorce him.

They were only married 2 years ago. What could have possibly gone wrong in such a short time? Did they forget who they were and expect some sort of miracle?

Their wedding anniversary was on 17 July but there were no loved up posts on social media from J Lo.

Jennifer spent her 55th birthday on 24 July surrounded by friends at a Bridgerton themed birthday party in the Hamptons. Ben apparently was a no show.

That’s gotta sting. Married just two years and it’s already kaput.

Meanwhile, Ben Affleck bought himself a hugely expensive bachelor pad. According to TMZ, Ben recently bought $US20.5 million ($31.3 million) mansion in the upmarket Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles.

Wonder who’s sharing this information to the gossip magazines? TMZ knows everything about Ben’s new pad – the number of bedrooms, bathrooms, the size. They would know this only if someone told them. Wouldn’t be J Lo, as she doesn’t want people to know they are heading towards divorceville. So it has to be Ben or one of his friends or even his ex wife who’s blabbing to the gutter media. Ben’s new house is close to his ex wife and his kids. Of course.

Then we have Jennifer allegedly staging “pap shots” in the Hamptons. Former The Hills reality star Whitney Port has claimed she saw Jennifer Lopez setting up her own paparazzi shots. That’s typical thirsty celebrity behaviour that many well known celebrities engage in. Jennifer isn’t the first and wont be the last to do this.

While Jennifer was at the Hamptons, she was photographed without her wedding ring, riding a bicycle.

The divorce rumours surrounding Jennifer and Ben started in May this year when a gossip magazine said they had not been together since March.

Sources (ie Ben’s friends or publicist or ex wife) have been telling the gossip rags to expect a divorce announcement in the next few weeks. But they have been saying this for months and still nothing. Again another source said about Ben: “If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity, he would. He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream.” That’s a massive and cruel burn to Jennifer.

And Jennifer’s friends apparently hate Ben. Music mogul Benny Medina thinks Ben is a douche. Apparently Medina never liked Ben, from way back to Bennifer 1.0. Other of Jennifer’s friends are calling Ben a ‘‘triple-A a–hole’’.

Jennifer’s best friend Leah Rimini cautioned Jennifer about entangling herself in Bennifer 2.0 but that fell on deaf ears. Sources claim Remini told Jennifer that Ben is selfish and not fully committed as a partner. JLo cut ties with Leath and didn’t invite her to the wedding. But they have since made up.

Jennifer and Ben’s Hollywood house is listed for sale for a whopping $68 million.
